Meets the challenge. I'm guessing the subject matter is rigging (primary subject) for the ferris wheel (secondary subject) which doesn't hold a lot of interest as a subject matter to me, but I feel like I owe this image a comment because It does meet the challenge in that the foreground (rigging) is sharp as well as the "middle" ground (the tent-like area), and the background (ferris wheel structure). The chosen POV draws the viewer because it creates an interesting perspective. Overall, you made an ordinary subject into an interesting image while keeping the challenge theme in mind. Well done.

I like the shot, meets the challenge. With that said, if you've been on DPC for any amount of time, you may get critiques (and dinged) for the horizon not being level, and the sailboat in the background being a distraction. I think a few things may have improved this image; correct the tilt, and perhaps crop so that the couple fills more of the frame, and maybe wait for the boat to pass by. Good luck on the voting.
