Reflecting on New Beginningsby SkipComment: This is a precious image and I have to agree with you on the focus. It would totally change the photo if the focus was on the baby. The soft focus is complimented by the soft pastel colors and the feeling of tender love the mother is protraying. You have satified all of the classic rules (ie. rule of thirds) and at the same time, taken a cvutting edge photo. This is also an image that might have suffered a little from the 2 second rule. It takes a little time to see all of the little nuances.
I am sure this is a photo that will become a family heirloom and I hope you gave her a framed copy to put next to her wedding photo. Very well done and you should be very proud. |

Houseby umbroComment: Gorgeous pastels, looks very spring like. Too bad this was a basic editing challenge, the texture in the sky could use a little tweeking in levels. Overall a nicely done photo and meets the challenge very well |

Pasture Timeby popdeepopComment: Your composition is very nicely done. Unfortunately the colors seem a bit bland, I wonder if tweeking levels and saturation would put more WOW into this shot. |

Just after landingby BoddiComment: Nice try on the classic water drop shot. Unfortunately you background lack pizzazz and the overall effect is rather low key. |

Tiny Bubblesby MichaelsComment: There seems to be some strange shading around the bottom edge of the glass, i am wondering what it is. Feel free to PM me if you want to clarify it for me. |
