I rather like this shot. I read the comments and while I can see the points being made, overall this is a gorgeous shot. I think it would have scored better if the processing was toned down just a bit. I also wish I could compare it to the color version.

Man and Dog

I gave this photo a 7. I can see why you loved it, its a cute puppy and a beautiful moment. I think maybe the voters see this as being a snapshot, but the very reasons most of them voted it low are the exact things I like the most. (ie. the rustic bowl, the mans feet).

Actually in the overall scheme of things, this did not do too bad. I am happy to see where it placed.
