Thanks. Nothing out of the ordinary - it was a lightroom conversion so there was some vibrancy added i suppose. Most of the colour was present in the first place (food dye fed to a split stem over a couple of days).


Aha, food dye and a split stem. I remember doing this in school once but have long forgotten that it could be done. I will have to try that. Thanks for the explanation!!!

If the entire image was sharp you would have a great photo on your hands. Great creativity but lacks in execution.

Great image except I think the border is a bit harsh in this situation. Also wish I could not see the buildings in the background. I think without those 2 elements this image would get a better score from me. It would make the singular tree look more solitude and give the "negative space" more room to breath.
