Composition is well done. I like the shadows in the piece. Details in the hands are good. I think the details in the background ruins it a little bit. Maybe if it was a bit blurred out or less detail. A solid color may make a difference

If the character is your subject. Play around with your Aperture it will focus in on her. Foreground is blurry and the background is more focus. If background is your subject the girl is in the way. Try moving around the subject and imagine if it would make a good shot. Good thing about digital cameras are you can take multiply shots until you can get it right.
Professionals take hundreds if not thousands of shots to get a few good ones.

PIcture has noise. Try bring the ISO setting down. Reflections of the metal interferes with the lense, especially on a bright or even hazy day.
