Wicked and very eye catchy! I really like the sign and diagonally the lower right half (does that make sense?). The light rays with the trees behind them is simply spectacular! Less than fond of the other half that is totally blown out, but I'm sure that was a trade off and I can accept that. Visually WOW!!! 9 Swash

Breaking the rules

This has quite a bit of WOW factor for me! The speed limit sign is dramatically white, even though it's dirty (impressive!). The sunset sky has wonderful tones from light blue to azure, very nice. The sillhouetted jet is a great touch (we want them to go fast! joke) Score upgrade from 8 to 9 (wow factor again!) Swash

Good eye! Very good shot. It's too bad camera's don't have dual focal ranges, this would have been a good shot for it. Color seems a little muted (just a tiny bit) 8 Swash

Great shot! I like how the two planes are flying at each other. It's too bad camera's can't be set to two focal ranges, it would be asking for the moon and the stars to have the plane in strong focus, too. 8 Swash
(I don't know if the sign was bent, or what, but that streak across the sign....well, I just wish it wasn't there.)

Well, pinecrest, I would think. Very clear shot, nicely empty background, color is very, very good. Cropping, I kinda don't like the letters cut, but I'm thinking the lines used completely took out other letters (right?). General interest might be a bit low, but not enough to greatly affect your score. 8 Swash

That is just a killer sign! I like the extra purple, makes for a dramatic sky (and it didn't hurt the caution signs either). Technical issues..none, very good focus, framing and exposure. I just plain like this shot. 9 Swash
