Empty promenade by miracComment: Nice contrast, Nice perspective shot, too. Almost missed your waldo's face between the trees and the lamp-pole. 8 Swash |

Bridge To My Heartby jerrftComment: Pretty scene. Waldos are on the bridge. Color seems a little red, the rails in the sunshine and road, esp. The tree above/behind the bridge seems less than clear (mostly due to glare). 7 Swash |

Bit cold for hide and seekby wdebeau1Comment: I see your Waldo (I think) over the edge of the hell, behind the brush. Nice picture, pretty color. I really like the white birch trees. Here's the hard part, while "waldo" is supposed to be hidden, this may be just a little too much, the figure is barely discernable as a person's outline. If I weren't looking for a person, I doubt I would have found that person. Very sharp photo, nice lines. 7 Swash |

Where are you!by HoogieComment: Cute shot, great expression! Very colorful! Focus is good. A tad "cutesy" for my tastes, but well executed and fits the challenge very well. 9 Swash |

Where's Eddie?by gigi922Comment: Well hidden face! (lower left corner) I like this. The palm fronds fill just enough without taking away from the sunset. I would have accented the reds and yellows more (in photoshop), but still a nice piece. 8 Swash |

Butterfly Blizzardby DennisFComment: Interesting trick. White butterflies on strings (paper butterflies?) The two subjects are well hidden. The amount of foreground blur makes this a little difficult to view (at least my eyes had a hard time focusing). Good color. 7 Swash |

When it Rains, Wear a Raincoatby AnachroniteComment: Jeff, you were right, this was on the disgusting side. Last place....now you know what not to do again. How does this fit in with the religious theme we were discussing earlier today? |

Maddy in classic pearlsby LindaLeeComment: Linda, this was sooo very cute. I do agree that the focal range could have been a little wider, but for such a classic, I gave a bit of leeway!!!! Wonderful work! Very patient dog! |

Are We "There" Yet?by GeneralEComment: Very nice shot! The dog's expression is just too funny (I don' twant this!) and the boy is just too cute. Great color, nice framing, focus is perfect! 9 Swash |

Mighty Ducksby VelocityComment: O.K. Nature Biology 101 - these are Canadian Geese, all of them, not a duck in sight. (I'm having fun at your expense, please laugh along) Very good shot. Love the geese struggling to walk across the ice. There are a lot of them!!! Small suggestion: crop the top 1/10 or so, basically at the water line and a higher angle would have netted you some great reflections on the lake surface. 8 Swash
(I was tempted to minus 1 more point for the duck/geese thing, but I'm feeling generous!!!) |
