roller coin

Comment:
I'm confused. The subject seems to be the coin, but the focus is either on the floor or the chair. The coin is so fuzzy, I can't make it out well. Is it yellow? Was the coin in motion? (see title) Sorry, 4 Swash

Well, it's a drinking fountain. It is kinda yellow, but a very pale version. Cropping seems a bit off (see upper left corner). Focus is good. Difficult subject/setting as there's not enough light (grainy), but more light would have just made the glare much worse. 5 Swash

Nice sunset. On my monitor, this scene looks red, with blue skys and silhouetted mountains. Our Sun may be a yellow one, but our pollution makes it appear red. 5 Swash

That's very, very yellow! This reminds me of an outside sculpture gallery I once visitied in St. Louis. JPEG artifacts are heavy (loook at the inner edges of this piece). Besides the surroundings of trees, I don't see what YOU added to make this art your own, see site rules Subject Matter/Artwork. Framing seems uneven both top/bottom and sides. Sorry, 4, Swash

Yes, that's yellow! Can the subject (yellow domino) be negative space, too? (I am really asking as I don't know!) Focus seems good, but not alot to go by. Interest - low (sorry!) 4 Swash

Comment:
Lots of yellow. While the reflections IN the glass are really neat, the reflection of light back onto the boxes makes the photo seem grainy in places. Framing - boxes are cropped in places that don't seem to add meaning, interest or beauty. (But then again, I can't see what may have been cropped out!) Sorry, 4 Swash

Cute! Focus seems more on the background than the subject. Photo is very small, so it's hard to see a lot of detail. Challenge met. 4 Swash

interesting color manip, but IMO it's kinda heavy handed as it seems to have bled over to the skin, too. Good detail, but again the color manip seems to me to have affected the definition (like the pupil's edges). It's more artistic than photographic. Sorry, 4, Swash

Cute title! I am sorry, but I'm gonna get restrictive with you. I need to see the color yellow for this challenge. The handle and some of the foil is nicely in focus. Framing is a little tight on the left. I will give you a point for bravery, to submit a black and white shot to represent a color, but that's it. total 4. Swash

Please argue against me, but it is my impression that this is OPA. See site rules - Subject Matter/Artwork. This is a VERY well taken shot. Focus is good. Color seems right on! The glare from the lighting might need a little softening. I am open to PM, even during the challenge week. Sorry, 4, Swashbuckler
