Chickens! Challenge met. Very grainy and a bit dark of an image. The grain takes away much of the detail available and subdues the color. You might try a lower ISO setting, if available, or different lighting. 6 Rob the Swash

Very pretty scene. (Drop dead gorgeous! really) But I need fauna visible for this challenge, their environment isn't quite enough (even as beautiful as this). For a landscape, weather or even textures, this would be a fantastic submittion. The best I can go is a 6 for this challenge. Rob the Swash

Herd o cows - that works! Black againt black is very hard on the details. Image is a bit small for all this activity. Heavy haze in the distance, probably not good, but honestly nearly out of the picture. 6 Rob the Swash

Interesting use of (I think) inverse black and white. The ant shows up very well, but some of the detail seems to be lost. (Calling this Albino Ant might have confused some of these issues for the better) 6 Rob the Swash

Pretty scene. I like what the dual tone did to the body of the foremost swan, nice subtle coloration, but the shadows remove a great deal of the detail that I would have liked to have seen. Pretty sharp, but still hard to see. 6 Rob the Swash

Looks like a pretty long hair cat. Did you want the reflections? (Too bad about the overhead wires in the reflection) A little polarization would have lowered the strength of the reflections - allow more of the cat to show through. 6 Rob the Swash

Sharp image! Good detail. Personally, I don't care for the coloration used. Female mallards have lovely, subtlely colored feathers. 6 Rob the Swash

Neat scene, but oh so overly saturated (restraint needed). This is a male mallard duck (what's with the title?). I like your framing. The reflections in the water look very nice, but I keep coming back to the saturation issue. 6 Rob the Swash

Cool motion pic, for that part you've done very well. Even though humans are animals, this does not work for me as a fauna challenge subject. For a motion, or city life type challenge, I could score this very well. 6 is about the top I can go for Fauna. Rob the Swash

I really want to like this one...cool subject. Picture seems clear enough, but pixelated. Zoos are such sad environments for wild big cats. 6 Rob the Swash
