Oh......ohby camelotnorthComment: Ehh, people are so silly! Why do they feel the need for colors to be "average". This photo was probably taken about an hour or so before sunset, that gives the cloud tops a yellow tint (we do have a yellow sun, no?) The trees shouldn't be in focus, they aren't the subject! I like the patch of blue - says to me..it was nice, but it's going downhill. I gave this a 7. A little more drama would have placed this in my upper grouping. |

Three Views Around the Lakeby mariomelComment: Very cool shot! I really like the fog hanging on the lake! The silhouetted trees are very nice. I'm liking this better and better....score upgrade from 9 to 10! Rob the Swash |

Pick On Someone Your Own Size!by whitetigerComment: Really neat series! It matched up pretty well with the outer panels at an angle, but not with the building (I think these angled cells add more interest, even if they don't match up exactly, but a perfect shot would have matched it all using a tripod with a flex head. 9 Rob the Swash (and anthropologist!) |

Rolling wavesby agwrightComment: Very nice scene! Was this three shots or one separated? (It does NOT matter, just curious, I think it's one shot) Nice dramatic cloudy sky (is this somewhere on the Puget Sound? or otherwise near me?) The one crashing wave is nice, but the rest of the water seems a bit too calm (now, isn't that asking for the sun, moon and the stars....no score impact). The rocks on the lower left seem a bit dark (duh, it's a cloudy day....). 9 Rob the Swash |

Newtonianby pinbackComment: Very, very cool idea!! The execution is nearly perfect, too. Was this one image divided or three separate shots? (I think it's three, but it's hard to say for certain) The strings of the "still" balls seem to have a bit of motion. Here's a complete nit for you...the shadows of the outside still balls aren't quite parallel with the other four (really, no score impact, just pointing out a tiny, insignificant flaw) 9 Rob the Swash |

A Place to Ponderby casualguyComment: It's a beautiful place! I would have reversed the two left shots, but this is a clockwise display (so your choice is probably better!). Upper left cell has an unnatural series of archs in the water color (probably from the sun), not a good thing. The willow trees and their reflections are very nice. 9 Rob the Swash |

Breaking Free by FranziskaLangComment: Very nice series! Good detail and nice imagination to come up with this! The lower cell is just fine, emulates flight well. It would have been truly impossible to catch them in real flight, but I would have liked it a touch better (how many years to do this???). 9 Rob the Swash |

After the Rainby KazComment: Very nice shots, great amounts of detail. (The flowers look almost too wet.) I really like the lighting on the 2nd and 3rd cells, the first is pretty good, but a tad glaring at the top. Focus seems pretty sharp, too bad the narsissus' outer petals reach out of focus, but camera reality (I hope the viewers don't fixate on that too much). Without the glare spot, this is a 10. High 9 - Rob the Swash |
