Redundancyby ClubJuggleComment: Solid shot, very good focus, esp. with that neboulous background (gray sky). Your title seems to refer to the bottom street sign, but the top one seems to be the focal spot of the shot. (feels odd) That said, it is an interesting angle shot. At least it wasn't called Street Court Avenue Road! (my street address is 84th Avenue Court East! only slightly redundant!) 7 Swash |

Slight Turn Aheadby xertionComment: Pretty sky, good focus and color. I think I would have liked to see the curve, too. Dirty sign! (no score effect, just a commentary) 7 Swash |

a very quite caravan parkby bayuComment: Well taken shot. Was the lighting that orange/red? Very clear night shot, how many second exposure? I tried a "hand crop" on my screen, suggestion: take off the bottom (about 1/2 way up the sign's posts) and the light on the left edge. It might help. I like the trees. 6 Swash |

Martian robot disguises itself as a roadsign!by MarklaneComment: Nice humor (title), but isn't the "thing" some sort of weather station, not really a sign? (I see a sign further on, so you're O.K.) Good color, focus, framing. Unfortunate background in a way (except for the sign), it's busy with all the light poles and traffic. 6 Swash |

Virginia Historical Markerby BAMartinComment: Nice angle, very clear shot. The wear on the sign did make me wonder a bit about the photo quality, but it's the sign....IMO, too close. I want to see at least the whole pattern, if not the whole sign (looks like a wonderful blue background behind the sign, was there something we're not seeing that was really bad?) I can't decide if that's glare on the sign (esp. the staff and foot bindings) or if that's wear on the sign. (let's call it wear, O.K?) 7 Swash |

Abandonedby miracComment: Good title! The dead vines remind me of those pole christmas trees some people make, using just a pole and strings of lights. The window in the background addes to the desolation. Nice find! It's a nit that you've probably heard before, but the free hanging branches on the right needed to be cropped (IMO), but not enough to change my score. To me, this is falling somewhere in the 7 to 8 range, I started it as a 7, but it's growing on me. Let's go 8! Swash |

Broken Lawsby DJLubaComment: This is strangely interesting. I've never seen THAT number used as a speed, totally bizarre! Were you taking this through a car window? (upsidedown reflection thing) I like the moon with the con-trail running through it. 6 Swash |

Untitledby hartlComment: Neat colors. A tripod really helps the shake. (Did you want the shake?) It's nearly impossible to hold the camera THAT still for more than a second or so. On my monitor the red "no" sign goes from pale red to strong red (left to right), could be parly due to the camera shake. How in the world did you get the "no" sign to be looking this solid, while the rest of the frame is shaking like an earthquake?

Village Next Leftby kevinswopeComment: Neat picture, I really like the big tree in the center of the frame. I'm not seeing any kind of sign whatsoever, sorry (is it hiding?). The "village" doesn't look like any culture I'm familiar with (wood plank tee-pees?). Shooting from shadows into sunlight is very tough, but this is pretty good (compliment!). Sorry 5 Swash |
