underground agentby nixterComment: his image has caused me to stop and pay attention. That means it is in my 7-10 voting band. (Voted earlier)
Additionally, it is highly interesting/eclectic meaning it keeps me here long enough to offer a longer comment and a vote of 8 or more.
This is one of my 8s - I like it a lot. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:
1, The movie-like feel; the rush, the flapping coat, the hat, the violence to come.
2. The fine use of motion blur.
3. The superb contrast.
Really engaging image - bumping from 8 to 9. |

This is one of my 8s - I like it. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:
1. The obliteration of the face.
2. Then the 'aha' moment when we see it.
3. Then the wonder why we didn't see it straight away.
4. The interesting space - where is she? Where are we?
5. The dust graffiti.
6. The pooling of the light.
7. The excellent tones.
Great stuff. |

This is one of my 9s - I like it a lot. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:
1. How it has a slightly 70s feel - I don't know how you've pulled that off.
2. The near-merger of her legs with the chair.
3. The utterly precise conversion - perfectly toned.
4. How spartan the room is - we are left to guess its function - like a hotel room, but not quite.
5. The perfect exposure - this sort of window as backlight is tricky - I like how we can discern the inside and the outside.
6. The reflection in the table.
This is a grower. Bumped from 8 to 9 as I formed the comment. |

1. Very interesting space that defies categorisation.
2. Lovely light.
3. Lovely tones - what a superb conversion.
4. The slightly hunched figure - we know not his purpose.
5. The lights - like punctuation marks across the scene.
6. The variety of textures.
Great stuff. |

1. I really enjoy the angle of presentation - an unusual choice that works very well.
2. The balance of composition - it just seems to all hang together very well.
3. The overall simplicity of the shot.
More than the sum of its parts. I like that. |

1. Superb juxtapositions - light and shade; in and out; old and young.
2. Great use of light.
3. Excellent conversion.
4. The eye contact.
5. How we think we are on a street looking in and how the phone on this side of the glass introduces doubt.
Great stuff. |

This is my only 10 - I like it very much. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:
1. Perfect for this challenge I think - it deserves something off the beaten path.
2. It confuses - I can't work out the relationship of the structures and people within the image - I have a suspicion, but there's not enough information to know.
3. The grain/noise - its a contributing element in its own right.
4. The high contrast.
Overall, a great presentation and wins my:
