Apprehensionby ibkcComment: Oh, how I know Ubique likes some drama! His words of advice to me have included getting in close and dirty, especially when it kicks off. It can't be real though can it? That pistol is in grabbling distance, even if a grab would lead to a head shot.
It looks convincing though so I have to consider that possibility...
Very interesting image. |

eye levelby tvsometimeComment: The spectacle lens grounds the image for me - an anchor around which the rest pivots. The steering wheels adds to the sense of 'turnability'.
I like how the photograph transcends the scene. It that sense, I think you have the measure of the challenge. Well done. |

Echoesby vawendyComment: Shadow and cause united. I like the overdeveloped glow, it has a sparkle about it. |

Behind the Photographerby the_rkpComment: It is as you say. An honest shot made effective by the guy on the pier. We understand what 'our' photographer is shooting. |

nicheby skewsmeComment: Clouds become plates of ice, the trees have endured enough winter and the bird is a witness to the torment.
I like the compositional balance of this shot. |

'spank the unimaginative" Ubique by MeMex2Comment: A trick, and a good one too. I love juxtapositions and this one works so well - it feels surreal and communicates a sense of irony somehow.
Nicely conceived and made. |

nothingby daisydavidComment: As stylish as it is stylised. They wish to be somebody, to become nothing offends their sensibilities. In the end, it wasn't worth getting dressed up for this....
The lines are important too - for me, its the bars of their prison, they have to stay, fixed in the 'x' and 'y' planes as entropy consumes their magnificent selves.
Bumping to an 8. |

Sand and lightby hajekaComment: I like how you have captured something ephemeral. This precise arrangement of particles has never occurred before and will never occur again.
You've made that tangible. All photos are a record of a moment but this more so than most, the scene itself unremarkable, its ephemerality total and dominating.
Well done. |

the summer palace by TiberiusComment: A curious tale that may never be properly told. Connected strangers uncaring of each other's life.
I'm impressed by you, the photographer, effectively adjunct - attached to the scene but not part of it. You are the invisible man. |

meetby NiallOTuamaComment: Clever composition where viewer participation comes for free. Will opening the door show me the car or banish a reflection. In that choice we would reveal whether we are inside or outside - as it stands we are subject to quantum ambiguity - the moment allows us to be both. |
