the summer palace by TiberiusComment: A curious tale that may never be properly told. Connected strangers uncaring of each other's life.
I'm impressed by you, the photographer, effectively adjunct - attached to the scene but not part of it. You are the invisible man. |

meetby NiallOTuamaComment: Clever composition where viewer participation comes for free. Will opening the door show me the car or banish a reflection. In that choice we would reveal whether we are inside or outside - as it stands we are subject to quantum ambiguity - the moment allows us to be both. |

Girlhood, Glamour, and Ghostsby CuttoothComment: Great use of colour, most weren't so bold. The muted, North Sea green hues has me seeing these as dresses for mermaids - she stands on a tail in my mind, the dresses will keep her secret safe.
Great moment, very well preserved. Bumping to a 9. |

Macy's Paradeby markwileyComment: The transected face makes this for me. Take no prisoners with your crop - commendable.
You've made this a scene of time and space, the people are passing through and hanging out... incidental tourists in your documentation of the mannequin bride and her abode.
Well constructed and highly disciplined. I like it. |

waiting it outby KMcCComment: A nice image with an embedded 'aha' moment. Cleverly constructed and effective as a consequence. |

Before & Afterby nygoldComment: Straight up and straight across. A race to the end - a visual metaphor for life where everybody hopes they'll make it to the other side.
The guy walking away isn't playing. He'll live forever. |

dia-ubiqueby 2mccsComment: I enjoy the references in this image! The blur has caused the appearance of savagery and the red play thing enacts its role in building the drama.
On the edge of parody, I like that. |

Bugs, Dogs And The Toyotaby grahamgatorComment: A photo within a photo with a lovely cross-processed look. I like the inner photo the best, the chrome forms a portal to 1976. Evocative of that remarkable summer.
All dogs were hot that year.
I like this a lot. |

parking supervisorby KathycComment: Remarkable geology meets serial killer's picnic spot. Darkly ominous.
How many bodies have been carried in that pickup?
I like the tilt too - complying with convention would not be appropriate for this image's mood.
Very effective image. |

mountains beyond mountainsby bohemkaComment: Helmet turns to 70s disco afro! I love that - disco yellow jumpsuit with red collar and some flairs to show off some moves!
The dynamism only serves to reinforce the sense of disco fever!
Great stuff. |
