Garlicby rkaushikComment: I like your interpretation of duotone. It works well for this image. |

Huon Valley, Tasmaniaby wisieComment: I seem to be picking more ribbon images than there are ribbons! This is one than must be in contention for the blue. Great image with a complementary duotone. |

Luffenholzby jdannelsComment: Very special image - a real contender for the blue. I'd love to see a bigger version. |

Dahlia Metallicaby digifotojoComment: Fabulous image - (I'm only at 21 of 253, but) this looks like ribbon material to me, though the overall quality in this challenge seems particularly high.
I hope you do well. 9. |

Paradisoby mgarsteckComment: I thought this was a great image - then I noticed the house top right and for me that knocks a lot of the magic out of it. I would have cropped it out and then cloned out the house in the background too (which I'm sure would have passed muster - I've taken out an entire power pylon with SC approval before). |

Minty Freshby colorcarnivalComment: Wow, excellent choice of colour for your second tone. Great clarity. I'm not sure whether it is a consequence of post-processing or just some lighter background blur but the lighter areas under the leaves look a little halo-ish - I think I might have been tempted to blend that area into the background a little more (though as the the photographer if I knew it was something in the background I'd probably leave it). |

Delft Blue Dutch Harborby ThingFishComment: Nice scene and a nearly good image - but for me this looks a little over-sharpened and a bit harsh as a consequence. |

off the wallby cutoutComment: This is really interesting and I like that I can see red and yellow hues - I am embracing all interpretations of 'duotone' here and this is a nice example of one interpretation. (I do wonder about the choice of keeping the 'off-image' white dots top right though.) |
