Disc: Permanent Corruptionby dw_photoComment: Effective abstract macro, expertly levered into this challenge!
As a poster its direct simplicity would probably work pretty well. |

Dandy Prince Curseby arminComment: I hope you'll be alright with the lettering and the border which strays into new image area territory. I'll presume you will be and score accordingly.
An intriguing image which is actually strong enough not to need the text - lots of drama.
The title isn't too bad in terms of movie credibility either. |

Driftwood Positioning Conspiracyby ScholtenComment: Interesting shot - I'm not sure you've got that hyper-focal thing quite right, I can never pull it off.
The title certainly lacks much movie credibility but never mind. As a poster, there is plenty of negative space which many of the effective ones have but I just not sure yours is in the right place in the frame. |

Life on Planet DPCby sarsonukComment: I'm sure you're already taking enough stick about your title so I won't add to it.
Photographically - I can see the colouration might communicate 'alien' but I'm not sure if I am to interpret this as alien flora or fauna. I think your effect may have been enhanced if you had cloned out the stem.
Overall, it's not really doing it for me. |

Diabolical Puppy Cuddlesby MichaelCComment: Pretty funny title and a well matched image, but when push comes to shove this really doesn't communicate 'movie' on any level.
Given where you were coming from, you could have made it even darker and diablolical - ramped the theme up and called it Diabolical Puppy Crusher! A video nasty to be sure! |

Distant Peaks Callby hahn23Comment: I like the title - pretty credible and a well matched, well executed image. I think a crop which had a a bit more sky as negative space would have been a better match for the challenge but nonetheless, this is good work. |

Deep Purple Conundrumby banmornComment: OK title - well matched image, a bit lacking in movie credibility. A pleasant enough image, but for me, it doesn't communicate 'movie' at all. |
