I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: I like the way the context of this rather bizarre image is left so open - the suit, the white tiles make this a very open image. It can be interpreted through both humorous and sinister lenses. I particularly like the manic eyes - a touch of the Ray Liotta's about them

Critical stuff: Nothing really.

Overall: A most interesting offering - I am really glad to have seen it.

Wow - this is pretty spectacular, it could be a poster or a Christmas card.

Oh, this is really wonderful - I've done a few aquarium shots, but none as good as this one. Perfect silhouettes. The smaller child particularly.

Positives: This is really nice and very well seen, we can see enough of their faces in the reflection to make this very interesting. I think the furniture contributes to the interest too.

Critical stuff: Not much really - perhaps a little more contrast, though perhaps that would obliterate the faces.

Overall: A great scene, well captured.

Positives: Interesting piece of graffiti. Good use of texture.

Critical stuff: I'm not sure your photography has added anything here, in fact I feel we could make a case that it has reduced the scene - sometimes that can be good, where the photographer captures an essence and the image becomes a distillation. But here, I don't form that impression.... I feel you may have thrown the baby out with the bath water.

Overall: An interesting scene perhaps but I'm sorry I don't find this to be an interesting capture of that scene.

Positives: You've really created something interesting in your capture of this scene. The fall of the light on the crystalline ice and the change in colour towards the bottom of that element is highly compelling.

Critical stuff: Not much at all really.

Overall: Nice image, good to see something so pretty from a simple sheet of glass.

Positives: This works really well; I like the 'woody' colour palette too, it suits the subject matter.

Critical stuff: Not much, I think this could've stood a tighter crop.

Overall: Nice work.
