Ridiculously good. I'm a particularly verbose person but there are only so many superlatives in the English language. Keep this up and folks will have to resort to obscure dialects of ancient languages to do your work justice.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: I really like this shot - the coloration and light are tremendous, there are a number of compelling elements and actually, if I really look, I think there are a multitude of editing possibilities here.

Critical stuff: Nothing really, your choices are fine. I think I'd have been tempted to crop down to the child more, taking out the dancers to the right - I think the context becomes very ambiguous than and the mystery (and thus story) of the image is enhanced.

Overall: A highly interesting image.

Thanks for the comments - I nearly pulled this, I was really unsure about it (to be honest, it still looks a little kind of seedy to me). Natural light only but a few filters to add glow and contrast.
