Into The Blueby MAKComment: I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: Fascinating image, like something from a science fiction film. The blue coloration is wonderful - it is well served by the motion-blur smoothness. The figures exhibit just enough blur to make this really interesting.
Critical stuff: Nothing.
Overall: Very strong work - would look great on a wall. |

Sunday Walkby bvyComment: I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: Brave image - I like it though, dreamy diffused colours and enough story to hold the viewers interest. Makes me want to know more about the scene.
Critical stuff: Perhaps a tighter crop at the top?
Overall: Very nice work. |

Positives: Super shot with a great title! I really like the composition with the bilateral negative space. I like the way the light catches the glasses too. The stance of your subject and how it mirrors the lighting / shadow is a nice touch.
Critical stuff: Nothing really.
Overall: A very effective image. I like it. |

The Blue Roomby JohannesFrankComment: I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: Utterly wonderful coloration and light. I don't know how you've managed to boost the tonal contrast whilst maintaining a diffused look but it really, really works. I'd love to see your workflow on this one. The room and the way you've composed the shot makes for a masterful image.
Critical stuff: Nothing at all.
Overall: Lovely stuff. |

Fallenby 4trtoneComment: This is really good - this sort of watery skyish landscape image wouldn't normally push my buttons but somehow this one has something special. Great balance to the image I think. |
