Absolutely fantastic composition and a powerful statement pertaining to the "END" The almost empty coke bottle conveys the message in a convincing way and the addition of the straw adds a visual element with a striking impact. Excellent depth of field and lovely sharp detail combined with natural colors.

Wonderful image that has an almost surreal and poetic beauty and evokes thoughts about the shortness of life and that beauty does not last. The lost freshness of youth, the disappearance of the spring in your footstep, the aches and the pains and the weariness of life taking it's toll. All these things encapsulated so vividly and competently, with so much verve and with so much feeling in this simple yet beautiful image. Exceptional detail, sharpness and luminance.

Superb, powerful and symbolic representation of the "END" Fits the challenge theme like a glove and is brilliantly captured. Lovely sharp detail and color throughout and excellent use of available light. I especially love the addition of the bedside lamp and the picture on the wall as they complement the image very nicely and add a feeling of completeness.

Simple yet extremely powerful and symbolic image captured with finesse and a insightful photographic eye. Lovely rich color and tones and superlative composition. I especially love the deep shine of the gold ring and the wetness of the stones. The title's meaning also is clear and unambiguous.
