Amazingly powerful image of a man dying of thirst in the parched waterless wastelands. Poignant presentation of reality and how the end can come upon us if we don't plan ahead in our journey through life. Also references to the water of life and the important part it fills in our everyday life. Fantastic depth and feeling of space. Brilliant piece of work. Should finish high up in the challenge.

Absolutely fantastic composition and a powerful statement pertaining to the "END" The almost empty coke bottle conveys the message in a convincing way and the addition of the straw adds a visual element with a striking impact. Excellent depth of field and lovely sharp detail combined with natural colors.

Wonderful image that has an almost surreal and poetic beauty and evokes thoughts about the shortness of life and that beauty does not last. The lost freshness of youth, the disappearance of the spring in your footstep, the aches and the pains and the weariness of life taking it's toll. All these things encapsulated so vividly and competently, with so much verve and with so much feeling in this simple yet beautiful image. Exceptional detail, sharpness and luminance.
