Amazing photo and far better then the brown. Even better then the winning image in that challenge imo. I can't help but think of the tragedy that has unfolded in Australia over the past few days when I look at this shot and I am wondering if this shot was in fact taken there.
It is a stunning capture showing the insatiable hunger of the inferno very vividly. Excellent detail and the silhouettes against the red hot glow are striking. One can in fact feel the heat radiating from the image. 9

Cant find the original brown on which you based this but it's a nice image anyway. Lovely composition and colors. I like the dewdrops and the black background. Focus is a little off as the image looks like it could have been a bit sharper. 5

Not a big improvement over the original brown version.
Overall image a bit out of focus and lacking a little in detail. As if you ran the eliminate noise feature a bit too heavy handedly. No detail in the hair. Does have nice smooth texture though. The black space takes up too much room and the image does not "speak" to me. 5
