it's just part of office workby myceliumComment: This is actually a very nice image! I love the overall tonality of it including how the nail color matches the little wheel! Even the square crop works in this instance when often it looks awkward or forced. I don't see an illusion though and for that reason can not give it as high a score as I would like...

What are they building here?by johnmkComment: This would be a great shot if it wasn't such a cloudy day. As it is with such low contrast lighting, the shot is quite flat and it took me a moment to see the boat sailing through the scene. With better lighting it would most likely have popped right out as it is so much lighter than the rest of the image...

Brickhouseby messerschmittComment: The only thing I would change about this shot is turning it upside down... Makes a more potent image rotated!

Balanceby vtruanComment: Quite dark and your focus seems to be off. I don't know what camera you're using, but adding a bunch of light would probably help it focus better....

At the heart of it all...by fotodudeComment: Nice job of holding the pose for such a long exposure. Interesting cropping, but I find something here a little lacking. Can't put my finger on it, but I don't find my attention drawn to this very much...

Multiplicityby RikkiComment: All ya need is a little smoke and ya got it! Only thing I don't like is all the little reflections. It clutters the shot and takes away from the simplicity of the candles!

See Through Laptopby dsa157Comment: Very original and very cute! Extra points for originality. Ya did a great job of lining the laptop image up while holding it! Great job.

The Illusion od a Summer showerby PixelstateComment: You're probably not gonna like this comment, however I feel compelled, when commenting, to say it the way I see it. IMHO you have violated the spirit of the DPC community. This is not the Digital Graphics Art Challenge site, it's Digital Photography Challenge sSite. I believe that this would be a simple snapshot without the major element of the frame that you added. I also believe that you have not honored the spirit of the challenge which is to PHOTOGRAPH an illusion. This illusion is totally created in post processing. In other words, you attempted to take a rather boring shot and create something out of it. Putting that aside for a moment, your frame within the frame appears to be rather forced and awkward. It doesn't lift the shot, it distracts. Given all of this, I'm afraid that I can not give you a very high score. In another forum, it may have done well...

A Delicate Balanceby ColeyComment: These are the types of shots that I like to comment on the most. The ones where I see the most potential! This shot is very original! I really hope ya show the set up behind (or should I say above) it! unfortunately you picked maybe the worst time of day to shoot it. Your lighting is kinda harsh and coming from the angle that it is it doesn't pull out the textural details in the flowers as they are arranged. I'm also put off by most of the feet being in shadow. Depending on the orientation here, If shot early in the morning or later at night this could be a top ten shot!

Oh and could ya move around a little so that the background was move even? The dark fence top right kinda draws your eye away from the subject... |

A Natural Illusionby Fibre OptixComment: OK... I'll give ya the illusion points, but it's not really that interesting. A few seconds glance and you've seen all there is, a truck coming over the hill...
