I'm not sure you got your history right unless you are talking Japan... In the US in 1990 only 28% of homes had a cd in them... As far as your shot goes, I know what you are trying to do, but this doesn't go over all that well. It's kind of boring and without your title, I wouldn't even know what it was...

Wrong decade... Punk rock roots are deep in the 70's. Sex Pistols, who were said to be the original punk band came out in 1977 but the true roots began in 75-76... Nice shot though...

Very nice shot and I'll give you credit for meeting the challenge but it's a bit tenous as the 80's in Kiss history is know as the decade that the boys took off their makeup. I'll let it fit into the challenge simply because they actually didn't take the makeup off in public until 1983. They never again appeared in makeup until their 1998 reunion tour...

Goth is definately not a product of the 80's. In fact it wasn't around untill the mid 90's. Goth is a mutation of several scenes that started in the late 70's through the early 90's including punk, new wave, heavy metal (not to be confused with the spandex bands of the 80's) and a bit of Rocky Horror...
