I visited this mosque last year ans was overwhelmed by its splendor. It's not easy to photograph though because the extreme light conditions and the large amount of visitors. You managed this really well!

The Old Pier

very interesting building. Unfortunately the wow-factor is missing... maybe a bolder crop would have helped a little since the foreground with the little wave is somewhat distracting. 2/3 of the pier would have been sufficient too to give the right impression of the surrounding. A more dramatic sky would have helped too but none of us is able to change weather conditions, right?

I like the fashion touch and the setup with the industrial background which might be even more dirty and run-down to be a real contrast. What I don't like is the awkward angle of his feet. And maybe I would have cropped it a little more thightly to put more emphasis on David (?)
