I love the subject matter, grassy/mossy rocks feel present and ancient at the same time to me. I find this photo feels a bit flat -- not a lot of depth of field to separate the up front rocks from the mountain in the back.

I love the brightness of this shot, highlighting the sun and heat over the land on this sunny day. Nice placement of the horse in the frame and good balance between sky and land/thirds. I find the widescreen bars a bit distracting.

I love the evenly spaced leaves on the ground in this, it's like a movie set. Color seems slightly oversaturated and the focus seems more on the leaves I love, rather than the boy and squirrel, but great subject.

The Dog andThe Groomer

Lighting is a bit harsh, dof is too inclusive... A little more invention and attention to quality details would take this subject further here. Try a different angle, from below the dog or above the groomer, to give it a unique feel, rather than a snapshot feel that anybody could achieve. If you want to score well, you have to stand out from the crowd a bit.
