Garden Globe

This would have been a much better shot if it hadn't been a self portrait. You could have set up your tripod and fired remotely and made sure the camera was hidden by the butterfly on the globe. Even if the challenge is past, give it a try and see how you like it. Also, don't crop off the left or top and make sure you get the tip of the angel's wing in the shot. It seems unbalanced right now with the left and top cut off, but the stand underneath showing.

Nice pile o' rocks. Nice set up -- love the sky in the background and the lighting on the rocks.

Like the title, concept and overall framing, but the DOF lacks a bit. All that seems to be in focus is one ant's butt.

What are the yellow lines running along the left and the right? First glance, I really like the photo but the lines are drawing my eye making me ask -- what's up with this?

Cute goat. You've clipped off his tail though. I'm not one who demands that the entire body be in a photo -- you could have cropped from the middle of his back right foot up, and then across his hip on the top to make it look like you were trying to enforce the idea of his intrusion into the garden. Also, some light on his face would be good. The left eye is lost in the darkness.

Somehow I knew this challenge would bring out a lot of macro bug shots :)

Nice clarity without seeming oversharpened -- exept the end of his (her?) butt is out of focus.

Well composed. I like her eyes in the dark and the expression in her face. The pants frame the shot well. Nice job.

I like the shot -- well conceived and well executed, but why the red hue? I guess with anti-forgery protection built-in, there isn't much you can do about the moire in the 100's and in Ben's background.
