The complexionby HighNoonerComment: This is superb picture. I feel it is better than mine.I am also pleasantly surprised that you took it with 60mm macro. I have imagined in my day-dreaming, what it would mean if I would take pictures with 60mm lens. It is perfect portrait focal length on APSC-format (450, 40, 50D).
Congrats on the 4th place.
Regards,
Vikram
P.S. I am just wondering how it would look in B+W. It should be wonderful! Message edited by author 2009-01-07 08:26:16. |

29,747.24 Days by hotpastaComment: Enzo (I find your name very fascinating and unique), apart from the fact that it is very creatively composed, your picture is a in a very personal space and that is what makes it so special and wonderful. Now that I have taken to photography, in some way, I too wish (and plan) to sit with my dad some day and take a lot of his pictures (he used to take a lot of ours when we were kids). He lives some 3000km away, and we get to meet only twice a year, nowadays. On technical front, I am amazed that you managed it so well at ISO 1600.
Congrats on the ribbon!

The Old Song Man by SandyPComment: Sandy, your picture is amazingly wonderful, and your story 'moving'. Technically it is a good as one can get, and emotively straight-and-transparent (I use this term often, for lack of vocabulary, to describe the pictures to which I am able to connect with ease).
One day, I am going to invite you to India, and let you loose on the streets. I am sure you will love it. Also, you are going to be one popular person here. :-))).
Congrats once again, and Good Day!
Regards,
Vikram

I like the entry that you put in 2-3rds very much!
Many congrats on the First Place; this is the kind of composition you cherish -simple, and elegant.
