Granddaddyby freakin_hilariousComment: Fantastic picture Nathan! Gives a feeling of closeness. I am wondering why he is looking down. It somehow, makes the portrait even better. Very well done!

Oh Motherby HipychikComment: I like this picture very very much for the mood, composition (innovative in that), and intent that it presents. Great!
:-), Vikram
Just a small point: I wish it had a greater DOF (but that is just me). |

Strength and splendor are her clothing, and she laughs at a future dayby smardazComment: I did not vote in this challenge I rarely vote for the challenges that I participate, I just feel nervous about any bias on my side affecting my voting; I appreciate very much that you do). But, if I was to vote, it would be a 10 for me. It is complete for me. It is such a delightful capture. And lights and tones are just perfect. I wish to take as good a picture of my mother as you did, soon. :-)
Good Day Jason! Wonderful work!

The slow pace of timeby srugoloComment: WoW!
The picture is just fantastic. You could capture 3 elderly people
in one shot and that too in such a moody, lovely composition.
I also love the title, it compliments a wonderful street picture so well!
Congrats on your 5th place!
