Fi from aboveby JimiRoseComment: Have you played with contrast/levels/curves at all to try and get more toning out of this? |

Fatburger...by TrollManComment: AFAIK, Fatburger is a massively popular burger franchise. I don't know if it offends people, but considering people get offended by the smallest things possible, there's a good chance :)
I love the colors, it's very neo-60s. |

Left Standingby bucketComment: I'm in love with this shot, but I still only gave it a 5. It's kind of hypocritical in a way, having trudged through so many static shots of buildings that have no emotional content whatsoever, but try as I might, I simply couldn't connect this to abandonment.
'tis my failure, I suppose. |

Mirror, Mirror on the ball... by jegerComment: Front page possibilities here. I hate that I'm torn out of the beauty by the camera on the tripod in the reflection, but I guess some things are just not do-able in basic editing (or advanced for that matter). Careful cloning work for outside of DPC, however, would really cement this as a gorgeous reflective take on nature.
A little more work on that hotspot would help too ;) |

A Study of Smokeby PhotomouseComment: Whatever the plant-thing in the background is, (probably a plant?), it is horribly distracting and fights tooth and nail with the smoke for domination of this photo. |

Out of the shadow by tjmuellerComment: Either you couldn't find an older model, or this is some sort of social commentary, but it is still horribly off-putting. Especially considering the smoke seems like a tacked-on afterthought to me. |

Abandoned Machineryby samanwarComment: Abandoned, or simply done for the work-day? A 5, but not my idea of abandonment. The machine in question shows no signs of disuse or typical wear and tear that a truly abandoned piece of machinery would show. It's obviously been recently used. |

A Rose in the Desert : Sanghakan Slumby hotpastaComment: An aesthetically pleasing shot that says more "poverty" to me than abandoned. The very fact that there is a person here, not to mention that it seems pretty well maintained for all its apparent run-down, isn't strong on the challenge theme. |
