Fragileby thorvaldsdottirComment: Not sure how this photo fits in with the Silence topic in this case, nor does the title help bring in the relevance of the photo.
The shallow depth of field, with the focus point then in the centre of the photo, means a very large area covering half the photo is very out of focus and not adding to the image. Having the front of the flower in the lower right corner wouldd then mean much of the picture would be the flower as it moves away and gets further out of focus. |

IF A TREE FALLS IN THE FOREST AND THERE IS NO ONE THEIR TO HEAR IT?by melissamp99Comment: I am not sure that black and white processing suits this photo. There is so much detail in it that i feel has been lost as the different colours (but similar tones) merge into one. The higlights are too blown out which means detail has been lost.
I like the idea of the fallen tree and the ever present question however |

Teen Coolby jjstager2Comment: A shame the girl doesn't have here leg down, or just further across to her left so that it does not obstruct her face. This one little thing makes an otherwise good capture look a little snap-shotish, more something a friend would take.
Other than that, the photo is well done, and Black and White processing is very suitable. |

A or Bby radarbratComment: Nice idea and done very well. Depth of field is great to illustrate the point and make the photograph. Not overly sure on the colours, but a well executed shot. |

P I N Kby toddheadComment: It is a shame that the lens cuts through one of her eyes. Also, the refelction of the photographer in the glasses detract from a great composition and idea for the challenge |

Homeworkby gysComment: Nice picture, great light and I like the use of depth of field in this photo.
What is the light stripe below his chin. It might be part of his clothing. However, it jumped out at me as being out of place. I think it especially is where it is located. |
