A small wonder that made an earth ….by gauravComment: The poor focus of this image means that the textures of the rocks are not clear. As a result, it becomes just large areas of slightly out of focus colours. The compositon lacks imagination or something to make it stand out |

Rocky Erosionby PhotologistComment: I struggle to find a subject in this image. The lack of something to draw the eyes means that they get drawn to the sky, where the colours are not what I would like. The sky looks washed out, and the hint of blue and red is overwhelmed by the white through the middle. A tighter crop on that interesting rock out towards the horizon may have worked, and also getting better colours through the image also would have helped |

Erosion by drick172Comment: The long exposure over the rocks works well, and the bird, in the bottom corner, although small, adds to the image as well, making it about more than just a long exposure.......... |

The Lines of Timeby phloverComment: Great colours. I am not sure how you captured this, and there is another image I think from a similar location, but the processing of this to get those colours is really good. |

The Stone Carverby VitaminBComment: A great location. However I feel that it is a little restrained by the crop. I think a wider view, giving us more at the top of the image, and more to the left, could then have put the waterfall on the third line, and some space above to balance the photo........... |

The Twisted Passageby RubberDucky7147Comment: The lines through the rock, curving their way around, the different colous and details, all add to make this a very interesting image. |

M e t e o r aby KineComment: A nice well composed image. Use of the Shaddow/Highlight function in PS (or similar in other programs) would have allowed you to lighten the rocks and show more detail there, while darkening the sky and surrounds, giving a richer colour. Some work on the individual colour channels could then have brought the image out more, while avoiding the fake Green trees.......... |

Inukshuk by benficaComment: The colours through the sky are nice, but the artificial light onto the rocks casts harsh shaddows that does detract from the overall effect here. Photographing earlier where more ambient light existed may have lost the background colours, but would have avoided those shaddows |

Rock Carved by the Ocean by darnokComment: The long exposure of the water over rocks has beenr eally well executed here and provides a great image that fits the challenge........... |
