daffodil 3by Elzbells47Comment: i agree with rlewis that this flower either needs a bath or alot of cloning in PS but i will say i like how it is back lit sometimes back lighting can produce really awesome pictures because of the differences in translucency of different parts of the flower itself |

daffodil 4by Elzbells47Comment: since the focus is on the center part of the flower it is really important that it is illuminated and not darker and the out of focus parts. for some reason the petals of the flower seem to have a tiny bit of a greenish tint on my monitor (could just be my monitor although it is pretty spot on for colors) and i feel like it could benefit from a little work on curves and levels ( there are tons of threads in the tips forum b/c thats how i started everything too :) ) |

daffodil 5by Elzbells47Comment: i like how it seems like the flower is watching over everything, but i agree with other people that a reflector could be used to better illuminate the subject and bring out detail better :) |

Abstract Challengeby stfleckComment: i LOVE this photo it reminds me of like vibrating strings on a violin for some reason but the curvature adds a whole new dimension to the sound that i see in this picture |
