Are you asking about Blur?

To answer your question is that's too much ;) - Sorry couldn't resist.

I think the glass needed better focus, the lighting needs work and there is just too much going on around the whole image for my liking.

Into the red

Into the red

Comment:
Doesn't really meet the challenge for me, it's more a case of shooting an object from below rather than upside down. Nicely executed though and I would probably only have voted this down a couple of points for the DNMC you would however have lost another point for the undersized image.

Bats!

Nice sky colour and clever subject for the challenge. would have loved to see a bit more detail in the bats though.

Bottom's Up

I like this shot quite a lot at first viewing.

CC:
I think it's a bit tightly cropped at the top for my personal taste and I don't think the long reflection really brings anything so a tighter crop at the bottom would have given it's bum some room.

The water could be warmed up a little as it looks a bit grey.

Confused Cone

Comment:
This could easily be a reflection but that is not immediately evident other than the distortion in the front cone, I guess most people will vote it down on subject matter as it's a bit boring and another score drain will be the small size used.

I would have loved to see a flash bounced in to the roof of this bridge to see the detail there and I think it might have added an awful lot to the interest in the image, as it is there is no real focal point and so my initial thought is "next".

A lot in common

A lot in common

Comment:
I like the lighting in this, very IreneM style, not sure this is polished enough for me to actually think it is her work though. A couple of things bug me, that broken shell on the right side for a start and the heavy light fall off, it is quite artistic though :)

Unfortunately it looks a bit soft, doesn't really scream upside down although obviously the flower is upside down in the frame, this could easily be a normal shot though that is rotated.

I love the tone of this image, I think the bridge is just a bit too fussy though and I might have been tempted to look for either a higher view point to allow a similar shot with less of the bridge in it, or I might just have cropped tighter at the bottom (not sure how that would have balanced the image though).

Actually as I look at the image I think that grey building on the left could be cropped out almost making for a square crop and that would lessen the impact of the bridge I think.
