New Zealand - 100% Pureby KiwiChrisComment: Beauty! Interesting crop you've used here. Were you able to shoot this at any different time during the week? I think this shot would have a lot more punch at sunrise/sunset with a slow exposure of the water and the reflection of a vibrant sunrise/sunset. Still, very cool. |

Pure blissby virtuamikeComment: I'm guessing you'll get comments about over-exposing the cats fur. It doesn't bother me, I think this is well taken. Nicely done. |

Colorby okiesisiComment: Well taken, but I doubt it'll score extremely well because it doesn't have a "wow factor" (something that makes the viewer go wow! (like if was a stop action shot of this splashing in a puddle). That being said, I like the simplicity of this shot. |

Pure Fuzzby Beautiful-JoeComment: Great macro, doesn't say Pure to me though. Not even Pure Fuzz, because it it was pure fuzz, it would just be a fuzzball. |

Why God??by jeroweComment: Love it! I'm guessing you had to hold this pose (which is a pose I use quite often in my own photos) for a good 30 seconds or more, yet, you've got crisp sharpness around the hands. Well done with that. I like the lone star. |

thereasonmaynotbeobviousatfirstglancebutifyoulookwiththeeyesoftheheartyoumaybegintounderstandwhyby charliebakerComment: Wanted to get my comment in before this potentially gets DQ'ed. The title itself is truly absurd. I mean why have that large of a title? Why make it all one word? It begs the question why? I love how it changes the column size of the voting page, so it makes this photo stand out from all the others even before you see it. Now the photo itself? I'm not quite sure what to say. So minimalistic, yet it has so much to say. Yet, I don't think this is what you were going for, I think you entering this to see people's reactions. I'm excited to see the potential controversy this photo will stir up. Not only the idea of it being a "photo" but also the absurdity of the title. This piece of art truly exceeds the challenge topic. |
