Windby mpetersComment: DPC will love the edit job on this, I don't. Looks over-edited to me - unrealistic. Nice contrast though. |

Natural Harborby docpjvComment: Then why does the lighting and contrast look so unnatural? To make the photo look good for DPC. |

At the Lakeby karmatComment: What did you do to the sky? DPC likes it, but does not look at all real. |

Graffiti Sucks2by alteredshotsComment: alteredshots? Graffiti-Sucks. Like this shot a lot better than that one. Especially because this one doesn't have those lighting effects. The use of infrared (or whatever) is awesome. Why do you think graffiti sucks? |

Semi-rural golferby jnenvirComment: Cool lighting. The flatness of the tonal values in the background is odd. Like you've done something in post processing to pull out the shadows, but it's killed the contrast. This seems like an image you took sortof randomly, and tried to fit into this challenge - especially with the title. This is a candid picture of a golfer, not a landscape. |

The Big Oakby glad2badadComment: Alright, this one is like a breath of fresh air. I went ooh, nice lighting. wait, what is that in the tree, cool! Interesting composition choice. I would rather the kid looking into the frame so the eye isn't drawn out of the frame, and the darkness of the tree also draws the eye right. But the luminescence of the leaves and the background is quite nice. I wonder if the kid was placed further out on the branch (like in the upper left R.o.Thirds). Great shot though. |
