Unusually Alluring: Small in Size, Big in Color

Did you know that the inside of these muscles are bright orange? And they are edible, but I don't like them. When alive they reach out with thier tentacles and feed on whatever comes to them. This guy either died of old age or more likely another predator (oyster catcher, human, seastar/starfish) got to em. Ok, lecture over.
Nice shot. I like that it is overexposed, I also like the debris of the left, makes it seem more natural. Good coloration I would like the entire image to shift to the right a bit though.

In the place between what you know, and what you fear, they struggle !

I've made rock towers before, loads of fun. That's a pretty good one I really like the top piece, on corner (as well as the one in the background). I'm ok at them but my brothers and dad are really good at them. They've made ones about 4ft heigh with a variety of stones (lots of big ones) out in water like this, with crazy points of balence (like this), and arches (in one tower) and lots different kinds. People would come by and wonder about them, "is this some kind of a cult or a ritual? (we laughed about questions like this later)" I have pictures of them, but they are on film. (Bout a year ago just before I got my first digital.) Oh, this evokes many fond memories from me (now in my favs). Nice job.

Extraordinary Black Coffee

Interesting DOF, makes the liquid/reflection stand out. Seems a bit abstract. I'm not quite sure what would be extraordinary about it, besides that it is black and has an image reflecting off it. The contrast of green and black works well. The image by itself doesn't say much too me.

This idea/compositon is pretty funny. I don't like the lighting reflections off the beer/post (flash). The composition is different, but it works. Does seem totally extraordinary, but it is different.
