Life Feeds On Lifeby ScottKComment: The more I looked at this, the more I liked the cropping. It captures the pause in the movement of the bird. The wingspan on these gulls when they are landing still amazes me -( I'm a "beachsider" in FL on the Atlantic so I see them all of the time) |

Welcome Home Baby Samuelby JackoComment: All babies are sweet and beautiful, of course, but this little guy is awesome. The textures you captured in this picture are so outstanding that I had to give this a 10. I am personally envious of the quality here and have not yet learned how to do it. I hope this is your baby. |

Shiva's dance - Life is Cosmic Energyby rhipsterComment: The colors and composition is this are stunning and the title is so appropriate for the challenge. It comes across grainy on my screen and it's a problem I have also so don't know what to say about that but high points for the creativity and the concept. |

Swingingby closethefridgeComment: I'm pretty much an amateur myself, however, I have taken quite a few pictures of kids swinging and here's what I learned: Walk around them some to determine the best background (simplified as much as possible and try to get sky) and then work to catch them on the backswing instead of the forward motion. You will get a better expression on the face and a much better body angle. Also the suspension of the swing against the background will be better. |

Wild Lifeby Faye PekasComment: The composition of this shot is awesome. My first thought was the affirmation of life (Noah's Ark). I realize that Judeo-Christian is not the background for everyone on this site but, for me, it would have skyrocketed the rating. |

Had the silly thing in reverseby wdebeau1Comment: I liked this image very much from the beginning and have moved it up three times in rating since completing my votes and studying the thumbnails. It is such a simple idea but I suspect not quite so simple to achieve. The coloring and texture of this shot makes it outstandingly real to me. 10 |

Humpty1by StewanComment: This seems a little dark and too centered for interest |

What A Mess!by sfarrell23Comment: There were a few egg shots in this challenge but this one really stands out because of the tones and the clarity of the picture. You can almost feel the thickness of the egg white here. I think the plain background is good and does not detract from the texture of the egg. |

Just Give Us a Kiss.by hgpayneComment: What a nice candid. I love the expressions on their faces and the fact that you caught 3 (and 1/2) giraffes in the picture. |
