Boy on the endby NeatComment: I like the darker tones of this. I wonder if many others are saying it's too dark, but I say it's just right. |

The End of the Lines by NeilComment: Very odd passageway, but perfectly suited for the challenge. Messing with the lighting on this could've added some more spooky aspects to it, but it's pretty good as is. |

W E Tby Art RoflmaoComment: Curious what the uncropped looked like, but I do like the variety in the focus of the water droplets in the web. I'd wonder what things looked like in color, assuming it'd be very green which may suit things a bit better. I definitely like the empty space top left, but I like that it's there, but vague, so we look and then return to the droplets. |

Jun 04 - The ugly ducklingsby hajekaComment: Unfortunate that you had the uneven lighting that you did. This is another reason why I mentioned the monopod on the other shot- would've helped you out quite a bit on the ISO here. Have you tried various photo stances or taking a burst to get a single in focus frame? Lots of high ISO techniques to be used with this one, particularly since it's a lighter lens and relatively compact. |

Jun 03 - 68860by hajekaComment: This is great. I might be one of the few that enjoys livestock "portraits," but I find them quite interesting. You've nailed this one, both in capturing and processing. Very good. |

Jun 02 - A tasty fishby hajekaComment: Man, shooting with such a long lens is so relentless when it comes to MF. You nailed the foreground, but the bird is a tad soft. Honestly though, I'm amazed how well you've done through this SC with a 500mm MF lens with largely moving subjects. |

Jun 01 - Duckyby hajekaComment: Agree on the cuteness of the duck. Not sure on what went awry here (focus, etc) but it could have been very interesting. Have you tried shooting with this lens using a monopod or a beanbag? Might work quite well so you aren't pushing ISO so much. |

May 31 - Transport and industryby hajekaComment: I really like the industry in the background, but I'm not sure how you could have made it more apparent that it was a coal ship without sacrificing that glorious industry evidence in the back. Cool shot though, love how the back is so superimposed due to the compression. |

A Million Stars That Sing To The Nightby scarbrdComment: Curious how much you boosted the sky, considering the settings and the bortle scale there. Very nice capture, I like the addition of the light painting, it really adds an interesting aspect to things I think. |
