I enjoy the photo itself- the grain works nicely with the rest of the treatment, the lo-fi look with the quirky composition etc, but I find nothing odd about a person next to a bench.
So, nice shot, perhaps not the best challenge so far as I see things.

Agreed with all the other positive comments. This was in a three way tie for best so far as I was concerned. Even better that you did it with a 50 :)

I'm glad you kept it color. Sometimes the genre is so inundated with BW that we forget how great color really can be without being over the top saturated and crazy neon colored.

Okay, so photographically, there are a lot of things wrong here, but you know that, and don't care.
This entry elicited a legit laugh from me as soon as it came up, and I think a large part of a photo is in its connection to the viewer, so you're getting a good vote.

Thank god you didn't say "end of the line." A composition that has been changed up from the others in this one, the toning is nice, fits the subject, and is fitting but not overbearing either. Great entry here.

Interesting take. The strength of this photo is in its simplicity. Nice distance implied from the fading hills and only the rails are illuminated. You're probably getting hammered for the blacks being all blocked up, but I like this. Plus you didn't mention "around the bend" or use a guitar or a musician or a couple.

Composition works great with the clouds, a nice coincidence indeed.

Good job changing things up, but something about the pose just feels over the top or odd or something.
