Foundation — the Origin of a Houseby Bear_MusicComment: Cool editing- looks like another Robert experiment.
Sorta like cellshading.
Really like the composition though, that's where this one shines. The concrete pump arching through the sky, the way the foundation is obvious yet blends into the scene at once... very nice. And it has no eggs, to boot! Hooray! |

Mythic Originsby crowisComment: Interesting shot- I'm assuming you dodged the area behind the figures on the left pillar in order to improve separation, but it is a bit more drastic and looks synthetic. You might have considered cloning some grass or something into that area instead. |

The Origin of Consciousnessby tangueraComment: Interesting, but the scale doesn't seem right here at all. The island with the pillar looks as though it's the same distance as the woman, yet it seems as though there would have to be some separation. |

One Morningby colorcarnivalComment: I gotta agree about the border, Michelle. I'm usually kinda in the middle for them, some photos are better, some not, but it seems a bit strong.
But that's pretty minor.
This is a gorgeous conversion and the scene is just great. Very fantasy inducing, the proverbial mysterious forest. Wonderful light and I really like the way the leaf detail is rendered. It's not quite sharp but somewhat "flowy," which only adds to the effect I was mentioning earlier.
Great job here. |

A Nail Biterby PennyStreetComment: Can't help you on an explanation here- I gave it a 6 which is moderately high for me. Great candid street moment, feels voyeuristic. |

Suburban Perspectiveby colorcarnivalComment: Congrats Michelle!
Sooooooooooooo close to a ribbon, too!
Great job using your camera and knowing what to do with your settings to get the end product you wanted.

My Only Friendby jjbeguinComment: The bleakness of this is remarkable. You took a common scene, added to it, and made a photo that fits the challenge exceptionally. I wonder how many will notice the two individuals upon the beach, but this is my fave for the challenge and I'm giving you a 9. |
