Disaster at Dawnby kawesttexComment: This is a cool photo. I especially like the small water droplets/mist coming off the water stream. The smoke is also pretty neat. Unfortunately, I don't really think this is a sunrise, due to how high the sun is in the photo, so perhaps this isn't the best challenge for this submission. |

The early birdsby LiamD2005Comment: Seems like your camera got a bit overwhelmed by the brightness on this one. I would've liked to see more detail in the clouds. |

Once Upon a Sunsetby tinky2Comment: I love how serene things are. Totally deserted lake and the very calming lavender color of the sky make this a very relaxing image. |

Face the Dayby dtremainComment: I really like the colors in this. If I were suggest anything, it would be to either keep the house as a total silhouette or increase its visibility, because as it is, it's somewhat in the middle, as is a small object on the far right in the foreground. |

Sunset in Texasby emoonsComment: I really like the clouds on this, and the way the orange/red slowly fade into blue. The whispy cirrus clouds add a great dreamy feel to things. |

Into the Fireby JeffryZComment: I like how minimalist this is. The silhouettes of the birds are great, and the color of the sky, though it appears to be induced by WB or PP, is great in contrast. The churning clouds are really what make this though. The emptiness in the top right helps to draw the viewer from the top right on down through the photo. |

Red sky at night, sailors delightby NobodyComment: The processing on this strikes me as being kinda odd initially, but also very cool. The clouds really like as though they are on fire. This makes me think of the cover of a movie or maybe a comic book or something. |

Windchill -20Fby smichenerComment: I think that having the two trees in such close proximity sorta makes them fight for the viewer's attention, especially because they are both cut off on the edges. They kinda seem like they were an inconvenience to you and not something you wanted in the shot, but had no way around. |

The heavens declare the glory of God!by SchmeldontinoComment: Excellent placing the bush right on the bush. Title is a bit cliche, and I had a feeling I knew what it would before even reading it. The cloud cover is great, and the transition from orange to blue is beautiful. The combination of the clouds and the small sliver of earth makes this scene all the more grand. Great job! |

Nearsetby mgarsteckComment: I like the more minimalist approach, especially with the dead/leafless tree on the left. It frames things nicely. |
