South Inlet, Storm Brewingby PenelopeKComment: Really like the rays and the huge contrast between land and water. You've got a bit of sensor dust top right. I'm looking more for this myself, as my camera suddenly became horribly dirty very quickly as of late.
ETA: Not big on the border, but I'm generally negative on borders here, so hard to say. Message edited by author 2013-11-20 02:59:26. |

All that glitters...by digifotojoComment: This is a perfect candidate for HDR. Your setting sun has quite obviously overwhelmed your sensor, so doing a combination of exposures to maintain that would be perfect here. |

the creek in winterby skewsmeComment: Your ability to make what is oft called "dead" or "bland" foliage work well here is worthy of mention. Quite pleased to see somebody with a nice photo that isn't gorgeous green or pleasing sunset. |

The Pequestby posthumousComment: The birds add a really nice reality to this scene which can tend to be left behind in perfected shots of landscapes. I like them there. |

Silent Riverby tomeComment: You and your brooding compositions! (meant positively :) )
I'd almost suggest you crop down more fully to the waterway, illustrating the excellent texture of the water more fully. This is a great shot, but the city distracts noticeably from the water itself for this prompt. |

Overflowby jagarComment: Not what I would normally expect of you, but a very nicely romanticized shot. I enjoy the colors of the leaves, but the depth of the photo really brings things together. So much to really see here- I appreciate the focus throughout. Would've figured this for higher to the top, frankly. |

small pond delightby mariucaComment: I didn't vote, but I find this horribly underrated. I really love the lily pads and the reflected tree trunks. |

Evensongby MelethiaComment: If this were blurred a TINY BIT more, I would call it Ursula-esque. Very nice, love the serenity. |

Raining Candyby StagoleeComment: Now why did I go to the trouble of manically gnawing on a sucker if I could've just flung candy around? Nice finish! |
