The Strobist by senor_kasperComment: Good shot. I like how you have silhouetted the photographer but not the children. Your sky is nicely exposed and adds some nice color to the scene.
But you titled it Strobist! Get that flash off camera! |

Huh?by SiggavComment: Ha. Looks like her eyes are bugging out a bit at something that's going on. Nice job capturing the interest and intensity of the stare. |

Bastetby JutildaComment: Sweet low key shot. I really like how there's the glimmer of light in the eye. Nice job. |

Untitledby ty-wilkinsonComment: You asked about the sky- honestly it'd be tough to do a whole lot with it in basic. You could try some curves measurement, by selecting portions of the curve to alter based on the tonality in the image. Advanced you could edit the sky separately and do more, depending upon what your original looked like.
One other thing that might have added to the sky is if you underexposed the whole scene a bit to keep more detail in the sky and not blow it out, and then tonemap it afterward. I've found you can bring a lot of dark shadows back successfully in this manner, and since you underexposed you'll be pulling more detail back into the highlights in the sky. It sorta works better on some images than others, but definitely something to consider. |

18.jpgby ankursomaniComment: I've always thought photos from India were great because of how vibrant and saturated the colors are in everything; goods, clothes, even the food is exceptionally vibrant. I think getting a less of a direct angle on these might have heightened the appearance of many different colors by making them stretch off into infinity more. |

42.jpgby ankursomaniComment: I bet these were pretty cool to see all lit up together. Were there very many more in the line or on the street? |

Kitty and Shaneby jomariComment: Ha. Great positioning. It reminds me of a cat I had when I was younger that always slept up by my pillow. Every few weeks he would decide to try and balance on my legs under the covers. It was the weirdest thing ever. |

The Dreamtime!by JudiComment: I'm not quite so sure I would say this is into or out of the frame in the sense that the challenge stipulates, but I think this is an excellent image. Your choice of dof is great, and the look on the child's face along with the figure in the background are exceptional. I really enjoy the varied lighting on the high grasses as well- it really adds depth and interest to an otherwise monotone element. I didn't vote, but would've voted this highly. |

- DRAGON's BREATH - by andrewtComment: This is awesome. I love all the detail in the flame, and the framing is great. I especially like how you get a good sense of scale. |
