11th Hole, Starboard Course, The Captainsby Bear_MusicComment: Definitely a very nice looking golf course. For some reason, I've a hard time picturing you golfing... just wasn't ever something I thought you'd partake in for some unknown reason. I like how enclosed the course is with the trees; the lighting on them is really splendid, nice and warm, the end of leaves. |

Bolkesjø Hotelby TrollManComment: Oh I love snowscapes like this. Can't wait for the winter to really get going here! We got our first snow in my town the other day, a few weeks later than is typical. Your shot reminds me of the high country up here, where everything is always dusted with snow and the skies are super clear. Gorgeous country you have there. |

A farewell to fallby libertyComment: I really love the warm tones of this, and the sparseness of the subject matter. Very cool. (not voting, fellow entrant) |

Tomato Ninja by gyabanComment: This is a very well done staged shot. Nice lighting, posing, effect, attention to details (the bandaids are an excellent addition).

Let goby wiesenerComment: This photo just really makes me want to know the backstory of things. But, at the same time, I'm almost hesitant to find out, preferring perhaps instead what I've constructed from my own experience.
Great shot.

no photography allowedby bspurgeonComment: It's curious how the lines of your photo lead us away from the subject matter. While in many cases, I would say this is odd or perhaps contrary to the effect, it works splendidly here- asking us to ignore the supervision we live in, making it secondary and accepted. Nice photo. The stranger by timmiComment: I really like how spooky feeling this is. The squiggle in the reflections really add to that end. I might've liked to see the stranger a bit more right of center with more of the walkway to the left, so further pull us into the scene, but very good as is.

Taken by the Seaby APComment: I like how the line from the tide extends outwards from the cross, pulling my eyes across the scene.

Ponga Curlsby trainComment: Your photo reminded me of a great vacation I had in NZ. :)
The slight toning to the white background behind the fern is sorta odd to me, though.

The Cow of Peaceful Meadows by Love6Comment: Interesting approach to things. I like the idea, but something keeps making me focus on the dark, which strikes me as a distraction from your subject. (not voting, fellow entrant) |
