Springfestby jomariComment: The brollies really make me think of Seurat's Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte. This is made much more interesting by being more dark and brooding. Interestingly, it doesn't feel terribly somber to me though, perhaps as a result of the pastel colors. |

Decantationby Bear_MusicComment: I agree with dahlin; that one woman's eyes are super intense, and the lighting just increases the effect. Kinda cool how the decanter is the center of the rooms attention. Surprised you drew so much attention just using an lx3 :) |

Bedroomby CoryComment: Man, this is like the Salvador Dali Suite or something with dripping woodgrain, a swirling duvet, and fans with giant leaves for their blades. |

Main & 24thby Yo_SpiffComment: I love using Topaz before applying Silver Efex. Going over the top with Topaz normally looks rather bad (IMO) but running it through Silver Efex gives you gorgeous tonality with all those zany colors. Exact thing I did for this one
Very nice use of contrast here. |

Merry Christmasby LeoComment: No worries :) That's the beauty of SC's... low pressure.
It's cool how your presence within the shot is rather minimal, and isn't initially the focus, especially with the bright red berries commanding my attention. But once I saw you within the ornament, things nearly switched places as far as demanding my attention. |

Sunset on Bombay Hookby scooter97Comment: I agree with The_Tourist. The near silhouette effect on the foreground grass is nice. I like how we can see a bits of the fuzzy tops though.

Nov 29 - Bikeby hajekaComment: Is the vignette due to the limited power of the flash or is it from PP? I quite like the effect, in any case. The falling snowflakes caught in the flash are good too. |

Clock0083by gadionComment: Very cool. I like the crop of this one. The shadows are what I like most, the negative form that they create. |

Demolisher at Workby jomariComment: This is a great shot. I really like how the blue arm sticks into the frame from the corner, and how vast the concrete looks. The texture on the concrete is really cool too. The cable in the foreground is a bummer, but I still really like this. |

Foxyby jomariComment: I loved seeing foxgloves for the first time in New Zealand, and they were just as magnificently tall as these. Living in an arid high plains climate gives me an acute appreciation for such lush growth, which is unheard of here. |
