Yup, that's 8 alright but I don't think its in the spirit of the challenge. You could count anything in a picture and put it in the title. That is a nice fluffy cloud and a brilliant blue sky, however.

You're title isn't very creative, IMO, but your shot is tremendous. It took me a bit to figure out they were bendy straws. It almost looks like some sort of energy reactor. Awesome lighting and super sharp. Great abstract. Could this be IreneM?
