good morning.by millerComment: Had a big night huh :) Would have preferred to see the bottle at a bit more of an angle, as it doesn't really look like you're drinking from it and gives a "staged" look to the photo. Focus and brightness could have been a bit better, but a very interesting take on the "self portrait" idea |

Self-Portraitby dynoComment: Excellently done. The side profile here is perfect, as is the lighting and focus. Congratulations - great shot ! |

Domestic Silver Surferby deadbrainComment: I've given you marks for orginality, but the overall shot is very poor - almost seems to have been made with a cheap web cam. The placement of your had and the right wall is a bit distracting - it almost seems that you're trying to push the wall and this is where all my attention gets focussed |

My Galaxyby GalyNetComment: Fascintaing. I can't wait to hear how you did this and the light beam being traced in your eye is phenomenal. One of the more intriguing shots posted and I find the overall effect works very well. Good one !! |

Some of meby InnaNComment: I'm in two minds about this one. At first I just thought there was too much light on your face, but then on closer inspection, it appears you've actually whitened it (with makeup?) as the skin on your arms and eyelid aren't showing this whiteness. Because of this, the photo appears a bit odd, although it does give focus to your eyes nose and mouth (so that part of it works well). The lighting on the hair is also great and I find that if I hide the part of the photo just below the chin, that this works much better for me. I've given you good marks though as it's something different and you've obviously gone to a lot of trouble to set this up |

Nana....That's Meeeeeee!by GraciousComment: A classically elegant self portrait and one I'm sure you'll be gald to have of yourself. The addition of the flower sets this off nicely and doesn't take too much focus away from your face, which is the main point of interest in a self portrait. However, the background is a bit muddled. If I was you I'd take this shot again with a more suitable background, as you've captured yourself very nicely here. I also like the soft focus, but almost feels its a bit too soft |

Peeking through lifeby asharisanComment: The framing makes this a very interesting shot - but I'm not sure how you did this as a self portrait. It will be interesting to hear how you did. I'm assuming it was done by self timer, and will rate it as such. I find that if a few cm are trimmed from the top of this, that photo works much better |

Steamed Upby RiderGalComment: Bit too grainy and the light is a bit harsh - but the touch of colour and the sultry look are winners |

getting dizzy in my chairby puppy52Comment: It's such a pity that you weren't able to keep the camera perfectly still on yourself while taking this photo, because the idea is just great with the spinning background. |

Me myself and Iby zeranicoComment: The leaf at the left is a bit distracting, but unfortunately the overall feel I get is that there wasn' much pre-planning put into this one. It feels as if you just sat down on a couch and took a pic. I like the fact that you have a dark shirt on with a dark couch, but if you had a black background as well, then all focus would be given to your face and this would have been a much more interesting shot |
