old pier, new pierby halopesComment: I'm assuming that's the "new pier" in the background? I probably wouldn't have figured that out without the title.. Good shot and an interesting take on the challenge, but it just doesn't quite do it for me personally. |

Before and after bite by OddBall7Comment: This makes me hungry for pretzels. haha Cute picture and set up. Conveys the challenge well. The crumbs from "the bite" are entertaining; If someone eats one pretzel that messily, what do they look like after a whole bag? :P |

Cheers!by bassboneComment: A couple of problems I find with this photograph: The way the Jameson bottle is cut off, and the table cloth. The cloth makes things too busy; Something simpler would've worked better, IMHO. And the cut of the Jameson bottle just looks so odd to me. Either a higher crop so we can see the whole bottle, or maybe laying it on its side, would've made it better. |

Recyling: Before, After, After, After, ...by bobnospumComment: Without the title, this doesn't say B&A to me at all. With the title, it seems like too much of a stretch. I also would like to see a better composition on it. The cans being cut out of the frame (particularly the edge of the Dr Pepper can being cut) is bothersome to me. The picture is very colorful and clear though. I especially like the Rockstar can; it catches the light really well. |

Bloom to Deadheadby PoobaComment: I'd like to see this cropped closer to the flower; there's a petal-less flower right behind it, so the one on the left isn't really necessary. Also the bottom of the flower is a bit OOF, as opposed to the top half of it, which could have been hidden with cropping the picture closer. |

buck with yearlingby fngood83Comment: Beautiful picture of the buck. Would've like the yearling to have been a little crisper. Probably wouldn't have cropped it so close to the yearling either. Still, that is a really beautiful picture of the buck. You should be proud of it. |

Squirrel Chowby swallaceComment: Wow, that squirrel went to town on that thing! I like the subjects and the idea. However, the lighting could be a little better; The front of the pine cone could use some more. And probably should've cloned out the little dusties at the bottom, too. |
