The effect used for the fingers is inappropriate, I think. Either freeze the motion or have less movement - this one is more suited as a ghostly shot for a Halloween theme or something like that due to the transparency of it.

Colon, Toea, Zloty... those are currency too? wow didn't know that. Interesting and creative idea, but technically I think this shot could do better with more flat lighting (the highlight along the top of the photo distracts a bit IMO).

This picture has very strong elements that tell a story, and the use of B&W works very well here. However, the subject in front appears quite soft - personally I would have preferred to see it sharper. Also I feel there isn't enough contrast on the subject - perhaps the sky is the culprit in this case but it's nothing that a graduated neutral density filter can't handle.

My 2 cents - I think this is good DOF used in the wrong way. The picture focuses the viewer's attention on the numbers 2031 but there's little/no significance in it alone. Although we all know that this is a credit card, the DOF seems to be trying to tell a different story which doesn't mesh well.
