My Extraordinary Kids!

My Extraordinary Kids!
by Sheila_Lawson

Comment:
Love the pictures of the kids, 2 nitpicks on it. First are the walls, I love the rocks on the right, wish you could have had them so that they were entirely in front of that one instead of the two totally different walls. Second which is even smaller is that everyone seems to be looking at the camera except the second from the bottom kid.

Clean good picture of the dictionary, however, the only thing extraordinary is the word itself, the photo, although technically almost perfect does not have enough interest to really make it stand out.

The photo seems so close to b&w that you should either make it b&w or try to have some more color in it. Great capture of the two birds though.

I wish I could see the crane lifting up something that looks very heavy or interesting. The triangle formed by the edge of the roof leading up to the top of the crane really makes the photo balanced. However the lack of anything really interesting in the photo to make a focus point keeps the photo in just the average range.

Just don't flap in the wind too long. Unfortunately the tree in the bottom hurts the photo a little, but still above average.

Definitely extraordinary double rainbow. If it had been my picture, would have cropped out the houses/roofs on the bottom to make it seem totally a nature shot.

Beautiful shot, my only minor gripe is that with it being this tall, I have to scroll my screen up and down in order to see it all, so I miss out on being able to just sit back and look at it. This is especially difficult as the crop is vertical, so it really doesn't show the picture the way that it really should.

Good subject but a tighter crop on the car would probably help to be able to see some of the the things on the car itself, as it is it just looks like some birds flew over and left a mess on the car.

An Evening at Sea

Comment:
As an evening shot, this leaves me wanting to see nice colors in the sky, but it seems to be gray/smoky on the horizon, and with the smoke coming out of the ship, seems to just blend altogether to be a place I really don't want to be.

I like the framing around the photo, my only wish is that you could have used a slightly different angle to be able to put the guy on the right third jumping into the photo. As he is jumping out of the photo, naturally my eyes do as well.
