The flower is captured wonderfully, but there's far too much unnecessary space to the left.

I really like the effect of a 2-dimensional design. Even though you've obviously shot upwards, it feels some Indian design with a pentagon at the top supported by some intricate pattern work. Lovely. 9

While this is a fantastic image, I feel that the eye needs a bit more space to the left and the pupil should be in perfect crispness. 8

What a lovely sunset! The variations in the clouds are certainly complex, and the colours are wonderful. I'd have cloned out what looks to be dust and maybe have cropped off a little from the bottom. Nice work.

This is a wonderful photograph. Other than a tenuous connection to the challenge theme, I can't see anything wrong here at all. 10

With the bad pun (intentional?), you've given me an idea for my next shot...

I really like the framing of this shot. However, it does take away from the sensation of the Kamakura Buddha. If a human had been allowed to enter the frame, that sense would have been preserved. The bland sky also detracts somewhat. You live only a few train rides away. You can go back on a beautiful day if the mood takes you.

I'd have chosen another title for this funny entry. LOL!

I really like the sentiment embodied here, but the hand is portrayed rather uglily.
